Meet Richard, the creator of Greenprint

I’m Richard, the creator of Greenprint. I live in Las Vegas, and I’m a plant enthusiast, a technology enthusiast, and someone who enjoys figuring things out.

Greenprint brings those interests together. I’m building an app that helps people understand their houseplants’ light needs and choose better spots for them at home. It’s a practical use for something I love doing: learning how things work and turning that knowledge into a useful tool.

My professional background is in customer service and paint-industry sales, where I’ve learned to listen first and understand what someone wants to accomplish. I bring that same approach to Greenprint, paying attention to where people get stuck and how I can make the experience clearer.

Outside of Greenprint, a big part of my life is my dog, Bailey. She’s high-energy, much loved, and always a good reason to step away from a screen. Sharing my home with both plants and a dog also makes pet safety personally important to me.

Greenprint is a personal project that I care deeply about. Plant care and app building are how I spend time doing something I enjoy, and sharing the result makes that work even more rewarding.
